Accept the Offer

About 2 minutes after entering your address and answering a few simple questions about your home you received a great offer and are excited that you can sell your home for a great price. Now what?

The next step in the process is equally simple and fast. You just click on the Accept Offer button which will take you to the purchase contract information page. Here is where you will tell us who the sellers are so we can prepare the purchase contract and give us an email address to send you the contract. We will then prepare the purchase contract and email it to you for review and acceptance.

Sign the Contract

Once we have answered all of your questions and the purchase contract is in the final form acceptable to you we will both sign it, which makes the document legally binding. To make things easier, we make it possible to sign the contract online or we will bring it to you to sign in person.

This is just one more proactive step we take to make it easy for home sellers to receive cash for houses quickly.

Property Inspection

After the contract is signed we will set up a convenient time to inspect the property. This visit provides us with the opportunity to meet you and learn more about the property we’re buying. We encourage you to take advantage of this time to get any lingering questions answered.

Just because you agree to sell house quickly, does not mean that you are rushed through the process. We want you to be comfortable with everything and prepared for the closing.

Get Your Cash

Immediately after the purchase contract is signed we’ll take the steps necessary to get the cash in your hands. Depending on your preferences, the state-licensed title company will wire the cash directly to your bank or give you a guaranteed title company check. No matter the route you go with, you will have your cash immediately after closing. Our process is much faster than the traditional home-selling process, which is why it’s so appealing to many sellers.

History of Prosper, Texas

Farming Community to Thriving Suburb

The Town of Prosper is a suburb of Dallas, Texas in central Collin County near State Highway 289. The first settlers arrived in the area in 1846 and found the rich Blackland Prairie soil was good for farming. The early settlers included the M. C. Talkington, Jeremiah Horn, George T. Parvin, and Reverend McElhannon families.

In 1876, the County Court issued an order that large tracts of county land be divided into smaller 160-acre tracts and sold. One of these 160-acre tracts was purchased by Dr. Bryant and was used to establish the community of Richland. A short distance away the community of Rock Hill was formed.

For the next 25 years, the two farming communities coexisted but that changed with the arrival of the railroad. In 1902, the St. Louis and San Francisco Railroad built a rail line between Sherman and Dallas with a stop in the area of Richland. As was common during the era of the railroads, small communities near the newly established train stop were abandoned or relocated to be near the train station, which is what happened with Rock Hill. The two communities became one and were renamed Prosper by the St. Louis and San Francisco Railroad.

The Town of Prosper was formally incorporated in 1914 with a population of approximately 500. The area continued to serve as a farm-to-market center for the local farmers whose primary crops were cotton and corn. The prosperity ended with the arrival of the Great Depression and the population dropped to below 300 by 1940 and did not rise above 500 until the 1970s. Prosper remained a small farming community with the population slowly rising to over 1,000 in the early 1990s. The population explosion of Dallas and Collin Counties starting in the 1990s included Prosper, and by the year 2000, the population of Prosper had doubled to over 2,000 residents.

Today, Prosper is a thriving and fast-growing suburb with a land area of approximately 23 square miles and a population near 25,000 and rising.
